Alina Iagupova became the MVP of the 2019-2020 season in EuroLeague Women

Our Fenerbahçe Öznur Kablo Women's Basketball Team star Alina Iagupova was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the EuroLeague Women season.

“Alina Iagupova has been rewarded for a sensational first season at Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo by being named the official EuroLeague Women MVP,” read a statement on the EuroLeague Women website.

The 28-year-old Ukrainian shooting guard was the season's top scorer, averaging 21.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. 

Iagupova was selected as the MVP of the season at the end of the 5-week voting, in which approximately 20 thousand people participated in six categories. Emma Meesseman (UMMC Ekaterinburg) took second place and Alyssa Thomas (ZVVZ USK Praha) took third place.

Iagupova continued their wonderful performances throughout the season with our Italian basketball player Cecilia Zandalasini in the 'EuroLeague Women Awards' vote and was qualified to represent our team among the top five players of the Euroleague
