Fenerbahçe Men’s Basketball Team has reached a two-year agreement with Danish-American forward Shavon Shields (2.01 m, 1994), who most recently played for Olimpia Milano.

Born in Overland Park, Kansas, in 1994, Shavon Shields played college basketball for the University of Nebraska between 2012 and 2016. Following his collegiate career, he moved to Germany to join Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt.

In April 2017, Shields signed with Italian side Aquila Trento before beginning the 2018-19 season in Spain with Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. He was part of the Baskonia team that won the Spanish League championship in the 2019-20 season.

Shields returned to Italy in the 2020-21 season, this time joining Olimpia Milano. During his time with the Italian club, the experienced forward won 10 trophies, including four Italian League titles in 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2025-26, three Italian Cups in 2021, 2022 and 2026, and three Italian Super Cups in 2020, 2024 and 2025.

In addition to his team achievements, Shields was named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. Last season in the EuroLeague, he averaged 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and a performance index rating of 12.8.

At international level, Shavon Shields represents the Danish National Team.
