Fenerbahçe Men’s Basketball Team has reached a two-year agreement with Turkish-American point guard Shane Larkin (1.80 m, 1992), who most recently played for Anadolu Efes.
 
After graduating from the University of Miami in 2013, Larkin was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft. His draft rights were subsequently traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he began his NBA career. Larkin also spent time with the Texas Legends in the NBA Development League during his first season.
 
In 2013, Larkin was named to both the All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team and the ACC All-Defensive Team, while also being selected as the conference’s Player of the Year. He played for the New York Knicks during the 2014–15 season and the Brooklyn Nets in 2015–16.
 
In the 2016–17 season, Larkin moved abroad for the first time in his career, joining Spanish side Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he was named to the All-Liga ACB Second Team. He returned to the NBA with the Boston Celtics for the 2017–18 season before signing with Anadolu Efes in 2018–19.
 
During his eight seasons with Anadolu Efes, Larkin won four Turkish Presidential Cups, three Turkish League titles, two EuroLeague championships and one Turkish Cup. Alongside his team achievements, the accomplished point guard also earned numerous individual honours. He was recognised as one of the EuroLeague’s most outstanding players of the past 25 years, while being named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team in the 2020–21 season and the All-EuroLeague First Team in 2021–22.
 
In the summer of 2025, Larkin won the silver medal with the Turkish National Basketball Team at the European Championship.
