Fenerbahce 2-0 Anderlecht

Fenerbahçe beat Belgian team Anderlecht 2-0 by Mathieu Valbuena and Michael Frey’s goals in the forth week of Europa League.

Fenerbahce made a good start in the game and missed a big opportunity with Islam Slimani. Islam Slimani’s header from Mathieu Valbuena’s crossing the ball into the penalty area was stopped by Anderlecht’s goalkeeper Thomas Didillion.Yellow Canaries’ left back Hasan Ali Kaldırım entered the penalty area in the 18th minutes of the game and missed a good chance to score.

In the 32nd minutes of the match, Eljif Elmas' left-footed shot from outside is saved by Anderlecht's goalkeeper. At the end of the first half, Anderlecht came closest to scoring whenTrebel struck the bar with a free-kick in the last minute of the half.

Beginning of the second half, Fenerbahçe had some opportunities with Eljif Elmas and Valbuena to score. Yellow Canaries scored two goals in 3 minutes. In the 71st minutes of the game, Mathieu Valbuena crossed the ball into the penalty area but nobody could touch and the ball went directly to the net. After this goal Fenerbahçe dominated the game.

Three minutes later, Michael Frey scored our second goal. Mathieu Valbuena brought the ball into the penalty area and passed it to Michael Frey who was in an unmarked position and Frey made an easy finish. Anderlecht's Bakkali received a second yellow card and was sent off in the 79th minute. 

By winning three points, Fenerbahçe kept second place with 7 points in Group D in fourth week of Europa League before Spartak Trnava and Anderlecht.
