Last season Guler posted 10.5 points, 5.6 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals over 30 EuroLeague games. It was his eighth campaign in the competition, having played five with Anadolu Efes and three with Galatasaray. He started his career with Besiktas, played a season for Darussafaka and after another season with Besiktas, he joined Efes, which is where he also made his EuroLeague debut in 2008.
